Afterward, students celebrated their hard work with extra recess—earned through their amazing efforts in specials classes! 🎉
We love combining learning, fresh air, and well-deserved fun! 💛 #SpringLearning #EarnedIt #ClassroomJoy

Thank you for making sure your student gets to school on time and ready to learn. We know that some mornings can be a challenge, and your effort does not go unnoticed!
Students with 85% or better attendance this quarter were rewarded with a small treat—and parents were entered into a raffle for a chance to win gift cards for gas and groceries. 🎉 There was one winner per grade level! Soooo, what that means is we are in a NEW quarter and everyone has a chance at this quarter's raffle which will be done at the end of the year. Keep showing up and YOU could win our next one! 💳
We appreciate your partnership and all you do to support your child’s success each and every day! #ThankYouParents #AttendanceMatters

Students who had perfect attendance for the quarter earned a special reward—breakfast pizza! 🍕 It was a fun (and delicious) way to recognize their hard work and consistency in showing up.
So proud of these students for showing up every day ready to learn! 💛 #PerfectAttendance #StudentSuccess #CelebrateSuccess

In the first activity, students took on a cooperative drawing challenge—standing back-to-back with a partner while one described an image and the other drew it. This activity really put their communication, listening, and teamwork skills to the test (and showed how important details are!). 🎨🗣️
Next, the class earned a reward and chose to celebrate by making slime—always a favorite! 🧪
We also had our exciting attendance glow party! Students enjoyed glowing games like “Binglow” and had a blast with colorful lights lighting up the room. 🌟
So proud of all their hard work, teamwork, and positive energy! 💛 #ClassroomFun #Teamwork #StudentSuccess

Our students were all smiles as they enjoyed their sweet treats—such a fun way to celebrate and build community together. We’re so grateful for moments like these that bring a little extra joy to our school day!

✏️ Central Intermediate's Young Authors & Illustrators Spotlight! 📚
Keep writing, keep dreaming, and keep telling your stories! ✨📖

Celebrating creativity at our assembly on Friday honoring our Young Authors and Illustrators! ✍️📚
Our students continue to amaze us with their imagination, voice, and courage to share their stories. One of the highlights of the celebration was when several staff members brought one student’s submission to life with a fun skit inspired by her writing. Seeing a story jump off the page and onto the stage was such a special moment! 🎭
Moments like these remind us how powerful student voices are and how important it is to nurture their creativity. We are so proud of all of our young authors for their hard work and willingness to share their ideas with the world.

For one of their Throwback Thursday Challenges, students in Mrs. Milroy’s 6th grade class worked together in teams to build the tallest structure they could using only 10 sheets of paper, 10 pieces of tape, and 4 straws! 📄📏
This hands-on activity challenged students to think creatively, problem-solve, and collaborate with their teammates. We saw some impressive designs and great teamwork throughout the challenge! 👏

Our Glow Party theme lit up the night with music, neon colors, and lots of dancing. The photos may be a little dark and blurry, but that just means the glow lights were working and the dance floor was full!
Most importantly, our students had a fantastic time celebrating together and making great memories. 🌟

Their creativity and research brought ancient history to life as they shared key facts, visuals, and insights about the civilizations that flourished along the Nile River. Great job showcasing your knowledge and teamwork! 👏🌍
