Annual Scholarship Information

The MREA Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior each year.  At least one scholarship will be awarded with the potential of having two available.  The scholarship is made available in furthering higher education for the applicant.  The choice is based primarily upon academic achievement, leadership and participation in activities both in and out of school.

The scholarship is decided by the MREA Scholarship Committee, which consists of six members:  a chairperson, and five other members as follows:  two members shall be from MRHS, one from the junior high and two from the elementary schools.  The committee makes its decisions based on the information provided in the applications submitted by students.

Students are encouraged to provide as much appropriate information as possible on the application and to be as thorough as possible when preparing their applications.  This application is what the committee will be basing its decision on when deciding who will be the recipient of the scholarship.  Therefore, it needs to be done thoroughly, neatly, and promptly.  No late applications will be accepted.
